The Iceland Ash Cloud grounds flights

Having lain dormant for almost 200 years until last month, the volcano beneath the Eyjafjallajokull glacier, 120 km east of Reykjavik, erupted resulting in airports across the UK and Europe being closed and hundreds of planes being grounded.

Sadly, two of our holidays have been affected, these being Guy Edwardes' Photography trip to Tuscany (starting on the 27th April) and Mo Teeuw's painting trip to Taroudant in Morocco (due to start on the 18th April).

Guy has managed to continue with his course, as two of his guests were able to make their own way to the hotel.

We hope that both of the tutors will be able to reschedule their trips for 2011.
