Linda travels to Cuba with Keith Cardwell's second group of Photographers

I was lucky enough to be able to join Keith Cardwell and his second group of Photographers in Cuba, in January.  Having never visited the island before, I didn't really know what to expect but I can honestly say that every element of the trip surpassed my expectations. The people are so warm and welcoming, the country with its deep history and sometimes crumbling architecture made the horrible transatlantic flight via Paris with Air France bearable. Thank goodness our groups fly from London Gatwick with Virgin Atlantic.

My favourite photo from the trip
In Trinidad, the efforts of Julio and his family to show us the real Cuba made the trip even more memorable. How anyone can visit this wonderful country and not leave a part of their heart or soul behind will always amaze me - I know I certainly left a bit of mine behind.

To top it all, I got to spend my birthday in Havana, and it will be one that I always look back on with fond memories. Thank you to all the clients and staff involved.

If you are interested in joining us on our future trips to Havana and have any questions that you would like me to answer, please give me a call.
